About GEC :-

M.D. Education society has established the Gwalior Engineering College. Popularly known as G.E.C.  Apart from various social welfare schemes for the benefit of the people, the society plans to provide technical manpower for the national prosperity and improving quality of life of the people through technical Education. The G.E.C. has been established with the object of providing high quality technical education in the pollution free natural environment. It has been planned for development with all modern facilities and recreational facilities. It is the first   ISO 9001:2000 certified institute of Gwalior having online education centre of ISRO (INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH AND ORGANIZATION).

Aims and Objectives:

The role of Mechanical Engineering in the new era is opening up highly to achieve innovation in future and associated developing strategies in human life. The goal of the conference, “Recent
Trends in Mechanical Engineering ”, is to provide a forum for interchange of knowledge, experience concerns and innovations among researchers, academicians and professionals in order to peep into the exciting and challenging future of different spheres of mechanical engineering. This conference will give the the perspective of the research and focus on the emerging tends in Mechanical Engineering.

The Dept of mechanical engineering started in 2003 with an intake of 60.Preasently with The intake of 120 to U.G. course and with  experienced , Highly qualified ,hard working person.
The dept. is known for its high academic standards and well  discipline .The dept has well equipped laboratories and workshops, where many research project are being pursued.

Registration Fees
Participants should pay the registration fees through DD of Rs.200/- per participant per entry in the favour of “Director, Gwalior Engineering College, Payable at Gwalior.
