Environment means our immediate surrounding which include area air, water, plant, animal etc. The two basic component of environment are biotic (plants and animals) and abiotic (air, water and soil).
Survival of human being depends on hundred and thousand of species of plants and animals. Human kind intervention began chasing the phase of the earth. Slowly, steadily, the elements of nature were controlled and systematically exploited to their comforts and progress. The progress has produced problems for environment. These problems have attracted attention of people throughout the world.
No nation in the world is free from adverse affects of environment. India is no exception to this global phenomena, land degradation, deforestation, water pollution, air pollution, other hazardous substances are some of the factors which have affected the environment for meeting the environmental challenges the government has made important legislation which are meant for free preventing and controlling pollution of water and air before the problem assume alarming proportions.
The goal of National Seminar “RAES 2011” is to provide a platform bring together Scientist, Professional from Chemical and Engineering Science discipline, public health professional and social scientist involved with sustainable development of different environmental fields.
