Gwalior Engineering College

Training and Placement is integral part of this institute .This is not confined only to the training of the students but also focusing for overall development of the students enabling them to shape their career and ensure that their education is fully utilized.

Training and Placement cell is headed by Mr S K Gupta, Dean, Training and Placement  of the college and assisted by Mr Tarun Verma working as Training & Placement Officer of the college.

As per nomenclature, Training & Placement Cell it has 2 parts-

1. Training
2. Placement

Objectives of Training and Placement Cell

1. Training:-To provide guidance to students in Career planning resume, preparation & interview skills, this will help students find employment suited to their abilities & skills.
   

2. Motivating the students by providing the necessary help & guidance for other Personality Development.
   

3. Training and Placement Cell   organizes sessions of aptitude tests, group discussion & guidance programme on how to face interviews for the students.
   

4. Employment: We provide ‘Placement before Degree’   
   

5. To liaison with education sector to cater to the needs of Educational Organization in conducting campus interviews for placements.
   

6. Our Students acquire sufficient  insight in to the subjects studied as well as sufficient pedagogical insight & acquire the practical knowledge which is necessary to function in education & transmission of knowledge.

Placement Drive

The college plans to organize placement drives where in prospective employers i.e. the schools will be invited to observe demonstrations by students and conduct on the spot interviews. The students will give live demonstration of their concerned subject & the School representative/Subject expert will evaluate them according to the requirement of the School.

Activities of Training and Placement Cell

1. To create & maintain a data bank on profiles of present students.

2. To build & maintain good relations with the Schools ,

3. To conduct Campus interviews for placements

4. To keep track of all the advertisements related to teacher requirement in Schools.

5. To communicate the suitable candidates resume to the concerned school.

6. To provide right  placement to the right candidate so that our students excel in their future life.

Role of Schools

You are therefore requested to provide us with your subject teacher requirement form time to time.  We will be highly indebted if you become a part of our’ Training and Placement Cell’ activities & select the deserving students as per your requirement.
