Governance

  1. The management is running college based on participative management. The characteristics of the management are :

    • Board of Governors makes strategic plans.

    • Academic Advisory Board designs systems to convert plans into action program , review programes, monitors progress and guides college administration in improving Academics

    • Think tank converts action plan into execution systems, suggests ways and means to improve productivity and provide total quality education.

    • Director and his team of faculty members executes plans, review progress and brings continuous improvement in learning environment and ambience of the college.

    • Students and Faculty a member participates in the planning and executives of process of management.

  2. The Chairman of the society has delegated the authority to the Board of Governor for overall development and control of the college. The Head of the Departments who are senior professors and experts in their field steer their departments duly supported by young, dynamic and intellectual faculty and Assistant head of the Departments.
    The execution of policy matters development and purchases are done by the committee of staff members and students under overall guidance of HOD’s and Director.

    The purchase committee in each Department has been made who plans for procurement of equipment, calls quotations, make comparative statements and give recommendations to central purchase committee who finalises proposal and processes equipment after approval from the Director.
  3. Students Feedback on Institutional Governance / Faculty performance. Students given their suggestion in written form through suggestion box which is accessible to all students. The suggestions are considered to all students. The suggestions are considered by the Dean, Student welfare and are incorporated in the system.
  4. Grievance redressal mechanism. For faculty, staff and students. Three tier system is being followed for redressal of grievances i.e. Complaints through complaint box, informal discussions in class and in person interaction / interview with HOD’s / Director. Each complaint is considered and action initiated to redress the grievances.
